Jakata - Pengamat politik dari Universitas Indonesia, Effendi Ghazali, mengungkapkan pada putaran kedua pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada) pada September mendatang, akan terjadi persaingan ketat antara pasangan Joko Widodo-Basuki T Purnaka dengan pasangan Fauzi Bowo-Nachrowi Ramli.
“Kami telah mengadakan survey internal, dan hasilnya, akan terjadi persaingan ketat antara Pak Jokowi dan Pak Fauzi Bowo. Tidak seperti hasil sebelumnya yang memang jauh jarak perolehannya,” ujarnya ditemui di acara open house yang diadakan Gubernur Fauzi Bowo, di rumah dinasnya Jalan Taman Suropati No. 7, Jakarta Pusat, Minggu (19/08/2012).
Meski demikian, Effendi urung menyebutkan nilai dari survey yang dilakukan oleh pihaknya, mengingat masih ada margin eror yang besar dari 450 responden yang dilakukan survey. “Siapa yang lebih unggul, belum bisa saya kasih tahu sekarang, karena survey kami agak besar margin errornya,” jelasnya.
Menyinggung maraknya penggunaan isu SARA yang terjadi selama bulan ramadhan kemarin, Effendi angkat bicara. Menurutnya, penggunaan isu SARA yang dilakukan oleh pihak-pihak tertentu sudah menimbulkan dampak yang besar, baik di kalangan masyarakat bawah maupun untuk calon pasangan. “Itu jelas ada dampaknya. Bahkan pengaruhnya cukup besar untuk pilkada putaran kedua nanti,” tandasnya.
